s13 Bad Vibration!!!

so when im on the highway cruising in 5th gear (probably around 65-75mph) i notice a really bad vibration (not quite sure where from) but when i slow down like if im coming to on off ramp it doesn't do it any more and will not continue to do it when i get back up to 5th.....now its happened to me 3 times now.....be driving, vibrates, slows down, get going (nothing) wondering if anybody knows...

im completly stumped and checked under the car after it happens and nothing appears to be broken or bent or anything like that

Are all you tire balence? If so check to make sure that the controll arms are not bent. Also check the ball joints.

240s come stock with a vibrator in the seats that are powered by a pulley, its normal... notice when you drive hard you dont realize it and you become really happy all of a sudden?

When was the last time you got an alignment? Is your steering wheel shaking like its having a seizure? Or can you hear something that sounds like a vibration going throughout the car? Do you hear any noises when you hit bumps in the road?

yea thats true when i drive hard its never happened just when i'm at a steady speed and cruise going...

when i got the car the guy aligned it and is still driving amazingly straight so never thougt about alignment, yea the steering wheel shakes but only when the vibrating occurs no other time, if i can remember i believe it goes throughout the entire car, not sure about noises when over bumps

You've probably figured it out already but I just wanted to say i had the same problem and it turns out my right front tire was "out of round"... The car had been sitting in the same spot for about a year... I had the tires balanced and rotated before ever driving it, the balance was perfect... (i used to work at the tire shop so my buddy did a very extensive/good balance job). After that i was still getting vibrations so the tire shop put it on a Road Force Variation machine - turns out it was the tire itself... Warranteed the tire for a new one - problem gone. Just thought I'd share that possibility.

I think it goes:

Tire balance
Play in suspension pieces (tie rods)
Alignment
engine/tranny mounts

I also have the same problem with the steering wheel shaking. Also When i hit bumps or holes in the road it seems like the back is hopping out and tends to go to a side for a second. I just figured that it was because i have an open diff and the power goes to one side. Also my friend told me the i had a broken engine mount, is that why the steering wheel is shaking?
