there is a row of three vertical screws on the right side of the rear bumper. how do you get the bottom one off? i cant get any tools in there and barely my fingers.

There are no vertical screws anywhere on the rear bumper. There's three studs that come through the quarter panel, secured with nuts. Use a ratchet or a wrench to access them. On the lower most passenger side you may need to remove the trunk vent.
