Alright, well i've had the car for about 3 weeks now and when i got it, it would idle funny. when i came to a stop it would sit at about 1400 rpm and then drop to 700 rpm after about 10 seconds. last weekend i put on a cone filter by cutting the stock airbox and using that as my adapter for the MAS. after that it would do the same thing but sometimes it would even idle a little lower like around 500 rpm. and now today i just got the car back from my mechanic after they replaced my clutch. now it's even worse. it will sit at around 1700 rpm and if it does drop it will only go to 1000 rpm. a few times the engine revs would drop the same way they would if i left it in first gear when coming to a stop. the car came close to stalling a few times and did once just from coming to a stop. my mechanic said he checked it out and it was flowing fine and said it might be a problem with the MAS. i'm just looking for any advice from you guys on what i should do. he said i should take it to the dealer because he didn't have the right tools there to do anything with it. i really don't want to go to the dealer and spend more money so if there's anyway i can fix it i would really appreciate some help. oh yeah, the ecu has been reset both my me and my mechanic. thanks in advance for any help.
