o2 sensor removal

I can't get my fuckin o2 sensor out of my KA's manifold! It is beginning to round off, too. Should I just destroy it in the process of replacing it, or is there some way that is better?

If it's shot, just get it out.

If you have a crappy socket, or wrench, set around, just hammer on the next size down and get a breaker bar on it somehow... that should break it loose.

I don't know where to get it either... but some stuff called "Release-All" I tried once works awesome. Frees anything that's seized.

This thing sucks. I can't get it out. I don't have a 22mm box end wrench and I don't wanna have to resort to anything rash. I guess I just gotta wait for the o2 sensor socket to come in.

Just go to sears, home depot or a hardware store and buy a set. They are a good tool to have.

I have no cash, just money in paypal. Oh well, a few more days of running pig rich isn't so bad.

Nah. Then getting the new one in would be a problem. I'm just waiting for my tool to come in. Use the right tool for the job the first time and be done with it.

7/8"= 22.2250 mm

i think you'll be fine with the 22mm ><

if it's rounding off, you'll need to use vice grips anyways.

I only rounded off one corner. I'm running richer every day, and while idling and working in my trunk I noticed a small black puff of smoke.

Pig rich. Smells like a lawnmower. It sucks. This socket needs to get here ASAP.
