ok well here it is.
in the start of f&f (the fats and the furious) when it goes from nite to day and u see the green mitsu eclip there is a noise when he is reving it it sounds liek a blow of valve???

what is the deal.
do bov's work like that or is it some other mod???
how much is one??
and where can i get ome??

that sound you heard is a blow off valve...eclipses have a high pitched sounding blow off.  probably HKS super sequential blow off...those make that high pitched noise.

but its nliek when he is stoped still. just reving the fuck out of it.

i thought bovs only worked when u changed gears...
i mean i know fuck all about car so ther u go.

do you know what they do? basically throttle body (valve that lets in air) is open when you push the gas. when you let go it closes and the air has nowhere togo but back to the turbine which can damage the fins. bov basically lets that air out.

just a FYI... the Eclipse in the Fast and the Furious wasn't even turbo IIRC.  The BOV sounds were all put in afterwards, so for all we know it could have been a Supra's BOV recording.
