Wastegate installation question??
So I am running an internal wastegate actuator and now I am changing to a external wastegate. So my question is after I hook up external wastegate do I just disconnect the rod on the internal wastegate??I say disconnect before I actually take it completely off just want to make sure it is going to work.

i assume that you will be keeping an internally wastegated turbo.
what i would do is a:remove the internal waste gate(the diaphram that the boost line goes to and the rod) then weld the flapper. or, b: you might be able to upgrade the exhaust housing on the turbot o one that does not have an internal wastegate. from there you probably would go with a new turbo outlet. my.02 |

i think welding it would be alot easyer, free and/or cheep. you should be able to take the intertal waysgate totaly off if im remembering correct.
