im thinking of moving up to a s14 - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

well instead of paying my insurance in november. im thinking about selling my s13 and either buying another s13 cheap and sr'ing it or getting a s14....or getting a n/a Z32.
what would u do? there all pretty much around the same price.
i figure i wont need the car during the winter anyway becuase i refuse to drive FWD and RWD will probally kill me in the snow.

z32 looks great stock, s14 looks great with skirts, s13 is just damn fast

I would get the S-14, because I just like them more then the S-13.....plus I have one.  But I think your rates will increase if you get the S-14.

mmm Id say no to the N/A Z32.... I've been in my friends dads 96 n/a and it felt pretty slow... Maybe on the S14, I say just keep your S13 and dont pay insurance for a couple months if you dont have to drive during the winter... Try to find a job during the time you arent driving, and start savin for future insurance payments.

Yeah, i don't see why you'd sell and buy again; just store it...
and I absolutely LOVE the look and feel of the z but in my opinion, not enough power to warant the extra weight...

im figuring if i can sell my s13 to some assclown for $3000-$3500 that will give me plenty of money to buy a broken s13 ($200-$1000)and get a sr($2000) for it.

or just save the moeny for a s14 (~$5000)

btw GTSpecR....i was trying to find one of ur posts so i could say....i want a s14 that looks like yours.....awsome looking man.

its the German 200SX Z-edition, its a limited edition and they made only 700 of them for the German market.

You can notice its E-spec due to the reflector on the fender.
