sr electrical problems

I installed my lightweight pulleys last night on my s14 with a sr redtop in it.. and we had to take the alternator off in order to change the pulley out so no sweat we get all of that taken care of im about to leave start the car.. car starts right up but my gauges dont work or the dash lights my cigarette lighter doesnt work interior lights dont work, my tailights dont work nor turn signals but everything else does.. so i check every fuse known to man and find my 100amp fuse is blown.. so i try to put a peice of foil in between to see if thats the problem but it just keeps sparking and nothing happened. So this morning i went to pick up 4 100amp fuses and i already blew 2 its the 100amp fuse located in the engine bay fuse block. i dont know what that controls but I changed it out and once i put the negative back on the battery terminal it blew the 100amp instantly. im sure about my power on the alternator but can someone help me with the negative cause i have it screwed in but im not sure its the right place cause it would make it seem since when i touch the negative cable back to the battery it blows that fuse... anyone got anything on this situation?

P.S. the car was running completely fine before this. no problems what so ever
