Oil pan Torque Spec's

I am removing my oil pan to replace the gasket but I don't know the torque spec's to tighten it down to. I searched with no luck and tried Zeroyon for the FSM's but it doesn't work. If anyone know's the spes'c or where I can get a FSM please post. Thanks...

the torque sequence is more important the the torque specs. Just make sure you go from one side to the other when you tighten the bolts down. And when you tighten the bolts down, just make sure they are snug. No need to go too tight since those bolts are pretty small. And a thin layer of liquid gasket is essential too.

That's what a lot of shop you. They put it in a grease gun and run it along the edge of the oil pan.

Nissan doesnt use a regular gasket like other cars do. They use their oem liquid gasket from the factory.

I just used a high temp silicone, it was black.

The sequence like he said above is important too.

I just tighten mine, but be careful because you can break them. I broke one.

Fsm

http://www.240edge.com/manuals/s14-sr20det.html

This manual is for an S14 SR, the S13 manual they have is for a CA. I can't imagine Nissan made any drastic changes to oilpan design, correct me if I'm wrong.

I couldn't find any torque specs for the oil pans bolts in it, but it gives you a torque sequence for them.

Good luck.
