safc2 questions
so yeah...i got an safc2 and i installed it for my car stalling problem due to the bov. I havent done any other fuel tuning because i havent got my wideband yet. So I have read a lot of threads and read the manual.
So from the threads, basically they said to adjust the throttle point to 1.0 and ne1 to 4 and ne2 to 5. and Ne1 to rpm 1000 and Ne2 to rpm 2000 and Ne3 to rpm 3000. and start the car, and start adjusting the Ne1 from 4 until the car starts jerking and stalls, the I should start adjust it more very slowly until the car idles smooth. and adjust the Ne2 to 1 more than the Ne1 point. Here is my first question. For the Ne point rpm, Ne3 doesnt go up to 3000. I think mine goes up to 2600 or 2800, I cant remember. and It does help the car stay away from stalling, but when the car comes to a stop, I throw it to neutral, the rpm sometimes goes down to 500 to 400 and comes to 1100 and goes back to 800-900. Is it normal? And after I adjusted it as the threads say, the next morning I start the car, the car doesnt idle smooth when its cold. It jerks a lot for a while. Is it normal? On the users manual says, I start the car when its cold. and hold the throttle to 1000 rpm for Ne1 % and hold the throttle to 1600 rpm to set the Ne2 %. And set the Ne1 rpm to 1000 and Ne2 to 1600. My question is when the car is cold, the idling is about 1900-2000 or for sure more than 1000 rpm. How can I hold the rpm to 1000 when the car is cold??? |
