i have SPL Aluminum Bushings. haven't installed them yet, still in the process. Nismo makes some, you can go to a junk yard and get them from any S14.

On an s-13 the diff mounts straight to the subframe with no bushings, but on s-14, z-32, j-30, q-45, etc there are bushings that hold the diff.

Before you install the bushings put them in the freezer for a couple of hours, they'll just slide right in!

THANKS so much for all the help. i think i have found what im gonna run. the spl look nice. here are a few pics of the axles and what they look like. anyone had this problem with j30's? they will still rotate but they just fall apart on the right side.

just put the one on the right in a month ago. went sliding for about an hour and this happened.

the one on the left is first one i broke, end cap just came off threw rear end dope everywhere.

as you can see the one on the right boot ripped for some reason and end cap came off to.

I have seen some threads on zilvia where people say that you can't run the j-30 axles because they are too long. That may have been what happened to you. Do a search in the tech forum and maybe send some PM's to the guys who claimed that.

I don't know for sure, I just know what I have read in other threads. A lot of people use them and I have only read a few posts that say you shouldn't. But like you said you never know.
