I just got my s14 clip and I did a compression check. All the cylinders were about 138lbs. Is that too low...? I dont want to see any heresay, only known facts, too many people give educated guesses, no guesses, experts only, i need to know wheather or not engine is good and to pay down the rest of the money on the clip. thanks

the numbers should be (in all possible units): standard 1079kPa 10.79 bar 11.0 kg/cm^2 156 psi minimum 883 kPa 8.83 bar 9.0 kg/cm^2 128 psi and the difference between cylinder limits are 98 kPa .98 bar 1.0 kg/cm^2 14 psi So your motor seems to be OK.
