s14 s13 redtop into s14. wiring help please!!!!!!!

Hello people i really need your help. Please dont say i need to search cause I DID MAY TIMES! if i found my answer i wouldn't be posting. i did my wiring harness using http://mysite.verizon.net/nrgonline/s13sr_to_s14.htm I put my harness in 2 weeks ago but no start. I do hear my fuel pump working, but no crank. i checked my harness again and again ( many times ) but i dont see what i could've done wrong.Checked my fuses too. Funny thing is my clock and my radio dont work as well. Do you really need S13 SR Instrument Cluster Plug(i dont know if thats for radio, clock, and ect)? But that doesnt matter about starting my motor right, so what am i doing wrong here. my friend did his harness using the same website and the car starts like a beast!!!! I know, why not ask my friend about the harness? Working and going to school full time, he really dont have time for me. Oh one more thing do you see ECU plug in the website cause some of my F3 wires are connected to the ECU wires. <----- Im confused. Should i cut all my plugs and connect it to F3 plug?

i used the same instructions when i did my harness and it worked fine. Make sure to check all your fuses, you may have hooked a wire up wrong and popped a fuse. Also make sure to check all your grounds and run more grounds. Im sure its something simple but you have to check everything. The radio and clock not working makes me think a fuse is blown.

My fuses are good. i checked. Do you have ground wires for F3 plug or ECU plug? i found some black wires from my ECU plug and i ground that sucker up. you know when i turn my key i hear a click. can it be my starter? may be my ingnitor chip? how can i tell my ingnitor chip is bad? help me please cause im going crazy thinking about this problem that i can not solve.

pull the starter and bench test it. Test your batt too. One or the other, if its clickING either the starter is to weAk to turn the motor over, or the batt is to weak to turn the starter

btw, that's not my writeup, i just backed it up because the main server of that guy kept going down. I've verified that the writeup is correct to every aspect. On the F3 plug, you should only use the wires you need. There's only one ground wire on the harness.

i have my own version of the wiring somewhere on my server; i'll look for it tonight.

the engine harness has nothing to do with your radio or interior crap. when the wiring is done, it just looks for starter signal, ground, power. then the instrumental signals for like tach, temp, gas gauge, speed.

i think you misunderstood what i was saying. Some wires from F3 plug was already connected to ECU wires. I am not saying the write up is wrong. like i said my friend used the same write up and his car works fine. i just dont know what i did wrong. checked and everything is fine. maybe i over looked something. about the radio and my clock i have no idea whats wrong with it. But Thanks NRG i hope you can find me your write up so i can check again. sorry people no pics today. i didnt have time sorry. tomorrow for sure. please if you have any idea about the clock/radio/my car not starting please help. Thanks.

odd. the F3 plug is from the USDM s14 harness. there's no way it would be already connected to the s13 sr ecu harness.

here's my version; wiring is the same as that page. just hope you understand mine alittle better:
http://www.driftingisgay.com/img/s13sr_in_s14.jpg

when i mean "power plug" i mean the F3. that's where all the connections go to for power on the s14.

the instrumental plug at the end of the s13 sr20 harness. do not cut that, it's best to find an s13 dohc and cut the male end from there. or if you pull it from a front clip, cut that piece. so you will wire that up to the F3 plug.

The relay comes off the s14 ka harness, cut that and wire it.

wiper motor, you just extend it and wire it up to the F3 plug, easy.

the gray and brown harness that is usually pluged in the battery area of the S13 engine bay? well those wires gets pulled into where the ECU is and wires up to the F3 harness.

very simple stuff.
