Mystery Sensor?

I've tried searching all over the place, I just got this SR20det from a friend of mine freshly rebuilt. I installed it and went to replace the turbo and manifold and found this sensor underneath the manifold was busted

Here are some pictures.

I can't figure out witch sensor it is and my buddy doesn't know either. Any help would be awesome!

Theres nothing special here just seems that someone placed a tranny sensor or some other type sensor to plug a water line port for whatever reason.

No, this is an S13 red top.

That's why this was so confusing because I couldn't figure out what type of sensor is plugged in there with the clip busted off.

I thought it was a knock sensor because the CA has a knock sensor similar to that, only difference is the top portion is a see through green.

No, I answered the question in my first reply. Let me be a little more clear, its the water port on the block that feeds the turbo which is blocked.

I think there should be a thread titled "how much can a 240 owner get away with":

1) You dont need to run water lines on a stock Nissan T25.
2) You dont need the lower harness for your 5 speed swap.
3) You dont need a manual ecu for 5 speed swap.
4) You dont need a manual TPS for your 5 speed swap.
5) You dont need a step on your stock flyhweel.
6) You dont need a PCV system
7) Dont ever put breather filters on your Valve cover or on the IACV pipe that draws in metered filterred air from the intake.
8) Dont run altima maxima 22mm rotors with yoru 26mm or 30mm Z32 calipers just because you can get them in 4 lug and 11" diameter...lol
9) You dont need a stock knock sesnor...lol

I just laugh anytime a read shit like above, granted you can get away with all that shit but your car probably suck to...lol

Save yourself a headache an get braided lines. I still have a banjo for oil in, but it disconnects leaving the banjo fitting and bolt attached to the block

This is correct. Observe the picture below.

The blue fitting is an -6 AN cap on top of a threaded fitting. This is the proper way to plug up the coolant outlet for the turbo.

This is the part number for the cap:

I don't remember the size on the threaded fitting, but it's in one of my previous posts as well as others'.

I was not running water lines on my T25 because I was removing the turbo a lot to do maintenance and test fittings. So I didn't want to slow myself down with water lines.

But others may choose not to run water lines, you should run water lines if the turbo has provisions for them. It helps longevity.

good call, frsport now carries earls lines, and circuit sports makes a nicely priced set.
