crazy rpm signal problem
i have the kouki s14sr20det in my 89 240sx.....
everything runs good and dandy but i went to hook my safc2 up to it and it doesnt pick up rpm signal or throttle response i have it hooked up to pin 2 on my ecu like apexi said...... even at idle it reads 0 i then cut this rpm wire to see if it was being grounded out...... the car would not even idle nor run....but it would read rpm's for the split second that it stayed running..... i then reconnected this wire and it read 0rpm..... weird....... any ideas? |

how did you connect the wires? i hope you soldered the wires and didn't use the little crimp things. I had the safc2 connected to my ecu and it ran fine along with my avcr, such a soldering wiring mess it was. try to see if the connections are snug or maybe one of them is backwards. It happens
