exhaust question

I know that s14 exhaust are different to the s13 by length and hanger locations. But my question is i can get an Apexi N1 for 100obo, would it be worth it to reweld the hangers and fab up a shorter cat delete pipe, or is it more then just that?

Well i mean, how good condition is it in?

Because apexi n1 mufflers alone go for more than 100, and if you've got a good muffler shop you can have custom piping that will fit better than the N1 would even if it was made for your car.

The exhaust is not in bad condition at all, its just a kid from around here that wants to get rid of it. From what i can tell it is in very good shape, and he only said it was on for not even a year.

i guess im just asking if thats all that needs to be done for it to work the hangers and it being shortened

Look at the condition of the mufflers themselves... they're very hard to repair if there's any rust spots/etc. The piping/hangars can be made at an exhaust shop very easily. Sounds like a good deal
