well the fmax is $600 and we sell those CIP Motor Sports

the revhard is great also. dont know the price on them because we dont deal with them any more

Custom is also good too because it may be cheaper. or it can be more expensive. but either way, there needs to be some R&D involved in making one. Labor is a killer

I've never heard anything bad about RevHard. Some people say that FMax tends to crack... but I have no experience with one (unfortunately). As far as the flange goes, you gotta figure out what dimensions you're bolting up to it. Most places can weld different size flanges on there.

I think of all that I have seen I like the RevHard the best (I run an Fmax)

My biggest complaints of the FMAX is the fact that turbo mounts perpendicular to the motor and there is little clearance between it and the BMC and the strut tower.

Second is that by design FMAX is 1/2 runner 1/2 log style, so that 2 and 3 are pointed directly at the turbo and 1 and 4 point at each other. It seems liek this would not be the best design for flow.

From what I know the REV HARD can be mounted turbo down for maximum clearance and distance from the BMC. Also mounted turbo down is far more stealthy The second point is the REVHARD is a true runner style manifold and looks like it would flow a bit better than an FMAX. All the runners end up pointing the same direction.

One thing to remember my fmax manifold was one of their prototypes, so their design may have changed. I know that the fmax monifold now has a cut flange as opposed to a one peice, like mine. As far as cracking, I have over 10,000 miles on my turbo setup, including 2 weekend long road course schools. My manifols shows no signs of cracking.

When/if I redo this motor I will base it aroud the RevHard manifold.

Revhard manifolds are actually prone to cracking just as they come from the manufacturer. It should be easily cured by cutting the flange so that each port has it's own flange, and drilling out the holes for the studs to the head to compensate for heat expansion.

Here is also another manifold you can get, but he requests 10 orders before he makes them. Very good quality from what I can tell. It is a direct replacement for the revhard, with much more detail to craftsmanship.
