how can I tell if my car is abs/non abs? need to choose rotors

eBay Motors: 89-96 Nissan 240SX S13 F+R Brake Rotors & CERAMIC Pads (item 190254942326 end time Oct-06-08 00:01:43 PDT)

I am looking at this site, but really, I have no idea how to tell if my car is abs or not.

I thought that 4 lug was 4 lug, didn't matter... what's the difference?

Horrible. ABS was an option only, included with VLSD. So to properly word that, most S14 SEs do not have ABS. Base models it's even more rare to have since it was only offered in 1995. 96-98 US market base models were never offered with ABS.

Alright tell me this my car I think is registered as an se. Has oem spoiler and sunroof, but has all basemodel solid grey interior with black gauge face. On top of that it has abs. It's a 95. Hope not thread jacking but I feel is related. I had the same question my self when I got my new rotors.

So I'm suppose to have vlsd, even being automatic?

You're dead certain it has ABS? If so and it's a US model it should have VLSD. I've never seen an open diff with an ABS sensor in the snout. Candaian market cars got VLSD without ABS, but it's unheard of to have the opposite.
Additionally, your car it is NOT an SE. Spoiler could be added (and probably was) at the dealer or aftermarket and the sunroof was an option on both base and SE, it was not standard on either model. An SE would have to also have 5lugs, front lip, foglights, white face gauges, and driverside lumbar support. Not to mention the 6speaker CD system, power antenna, keyless security, and the patterned cloth on the seats/doors. You just have a fully loaded base model, nothing more.

By 6 speaker you mean the additional tweeters on the a pillar? If so I have them as well. The factory amp looks to have been bypassed os I took it out a while back. Your probably right about the spoiler. But yeah I'm 4 lug, and didn't have a lip which is why I had to buy one. Also don't have fogs.

Now back to the abs..I have abs...I have the abs light on the dash and the module with the lines running to the master cylinder and what not.

O yeah the first letter of my VIN from left to right is J, if that makes a difference

Technically they can't be any thinner than OE, the pads would fall out. They may be a lower grade material or warped/cut poorly, but that's it.
