Sportmax 962 Flush look possible?

I want my wheels to look flush but im not sure if it's possible with my wheels, I have sportmaxes, I believe the sizes are:
BACK 17x9, +35 offset 4x114.3.
FRONT 17x8, +35 offset 4x114.3.

I am getting megan racing coilovers, spacers, and rolling the fenders. I read bout spacers and some people don't reccomend them, I wanted to get 20mm or 25mm spacers, probably 25mm for back 20mm for front, now would that be too dangerous?

Please don't bash, that's why im asking before buying.lol

Also, what kind of tires would be best?

I couldn't find much info on this, seems like most people that have the flush look have work wheels or similar on there cars, and I can't afford that right now.

I couldn't find much info on this, seems like most people that have the flush look have work wheels or similar on there cars, and I can't afford that right now.
- Flush is a relative term. What is "flush" to you? With a 17x8+35 / 17x9+35, I'd say you'd need at least a 15mm to be around where "flush" on stock fender S13 would be...but again, outer position of the wheel is determined by a lot of variables such as tire brand, tire size, camber, ride height, etc.

- Spacers are "safe" as long as you use them properly. Make sure you torque to proper specs, and use extended studs where necessary. A 5mm sandwich spacer is usually "safe" on stock studs, but anything larger that is a sandwich spacer should use extended studs. Bolt on spacers (that incorporate the stud into it) usually start at around 15mm, so if you're using a 15mm+ then a bolt on spacer won't require new wheel studs.

- What kind of tires would be best is a very relative question. Price wise? Performance wise? What size should you run?

I'd say if you are on a Sportmax budget, then Federal SS595 are the obvious choice (contact CITY TIRE ONLINE for a good deal)

Tire size maybe....215/45/17 all around? 215/40 F 215/45/ R? 215/45 F 235/40 R? I dunno with lack of details hard to say what would be "best."

s13

I've been running 962s on my S13 for a long time now with this setup:

Front: 15mm spacer w/a 5mm spacer sandwiched (between the spacer and hub) and a 3mm spacer on top
Offset = +12
Tire size: 215/45/17 or 225/45/17 Federal 595RS

Rear: 15mm spacer w/a 5mm spacer sandwiched
Offset = +15
Tire size: 225/45/17 Federal 595RS

Here's a pic:
Attachment 14335

This is a "reverse" stagger where instead of the rears sticking out more than the fronts, it's the total opposite! I know it probably goes against the grain in terms of "preferred" wheel aesthetics but it's hardly noticeable unless you look really close or are really picky.

I haven't had any problems (i.e. vibration, wheel shimmy, etc.) running this wheel setup- I just check to make sure the spacers are torqued down to correct specs before and after doing a drifting event or after driving a lot of miles.

Hope that helps.

rule of thumb on 9j = get as close to +15 on stock fenders as you can.

Awsome, thanks a lot for the info. Here is the look I want, I think the fenders are actually pulled a little instead of rolled? I want the top end of the rear tires to be inside the fender. I don't want to sit flush on the fender with no roll or pull, I want it to sit flush after the pull of the fender, sorry if it's not clear enough.lol
When I say what kind of tires would be best,

the question is what kind of tires would
give me this look ^^^
silsxs13, it looks sik man! but I do want the staggered look on mine though.
Thanks everyone for the help!

True. Matej's car was sick with those, it's still sick. I think so at least.

Sick. I just saw some old pics of his car with meshies while I was looking for that one. Weird.

wow that does look good.

kinda sucks about the 8s though, but i would run a 205/40 up front and a 215/40 rear. the 205s will stretch nicely over 9s, but then you'd need like 195s up front and thats gay. then, i would get a 30mil up front and a 20mil rear. and its just as safe as anyone else's stretch/spacers.

call up part shop max. they usually stock spacers. (they're in sd)

i had 17x9 +35 on my s13 before

i went with 225/45 for the tires along with 25mm spacers all around.

rolled rear fenders, 20mm fender on the front

this should give you an idea

i don't care that these wheels are heavy as shit and low quality.

they are a classic 5 spoke design that looks great when rocked properly, as matej and blanco have shown.

word. they look sick like that. and at that point the brand of the wheel becomes secondary to its fitment. if it looks hard as hell, people wont notice right away that they're 962s.

Yeah i thought the same way, and if i drift into a curb i could replace all 4 for the cost of just one Work Wheel.

I rock 17x9's +35 20mm in spacers up front and 30mm's in the rear with a roll and pull...on an s13

they have an aggresive look and the uninitiated think i paid big bills for them
