hey i recently got an s13 im trying to build. It's got a blown k-motor and is an '89 coupe. when i turn the stereo volume up and the speakers hit hard the whole car's electrical will shut off and even when it's not up, the lights dim like crazy. it wont even attempt to start either, like not even try to turn over at all. what does this sound like to you all

The only thing I can think of is that you have a short somewhere. This means your going to need to check ALL of your speaker and stereo lines and especially make shure your grounds have a good connection.

silly question but:
if the motors blown, how are u turning the alt?
'cause if u aint turning the alt....

the motor has bottom end damage that prevents it from running but shouldnt it at least shouldnt it at least try to turn over? or no

if its dimming it could be the battery, but correct me if i'm wrong.
