Yet another AGX question

Ok, so because of my budget I've decided on AGX springs. I am not going to go for coilovers so don't tell me to save up and get those. I have many many other things to pay for, and really the only reason I'm changing things out is because my rear struts are blown.

So anyways... I want to line my shocks/struts up to the correct spring rate. Using the below numbers I've come to conclude that the correct ratings for springs would be 3.44 kg/mm.

Quote:
Setting#:
Relative Value

1 - Same as Factory 100
2 - Same as our GR2 products (10~15% firmer than Factory) 115
3 - 50% firmer than #2 172
4 - 30% firmer than #3 223

For an eight position adjustable product, the damping force values are
approx. the following:

With #2 being Factory at a relative value of 100,

#1 = 95 (5% softer than Factory )
#2 = 100 (Factory damping force)
#3 = 107.5 (7.5% firmer than Factory)
#4 = 115 (15% firmer than Factory)(GR-2)
#5 = 143.5 (43.5% firmer than Factory)
#6 = 172 (72% firmer than Factory)
#7 = 197.5 (97.5 firmer than Factory)
#8 = 223 (123 % firmer than Factory)
I determined that I would probably be keeping my settings at 3/6 for daily driving. So, I took 1.72x2 to get 3.44 kg/mm. I got the 2.0 from the Suspension FAQ that stated factory springs are 2.0 kg/mm. So this would (thereotically) be the same ratio for the springs and shocks/struts.

Would this be the correct calculation or am I doing something wrong? Is there a better way to conclude what the correct spring rate would be for AGXs? Should the springs be a little stiffer or softer (in relative terms) as the struts/springs get stiffer?

The questions are for both longevity and maximum grip.

Thanks,
Richard
