![]() can i use a '97 240sx auto tranny in my '93 240sx? i have to replace it because it's been messing up... will the 97 tranny work or is the bell housing different? PLEASE HELP!

+1 yep, it'll work. '97 has an extra hole for a crank angle sensor at the top/front which the '93 doesn't use, you'll probably want to plug it or cover it with something... but not a big deal.

If the '97 trans has a hole for the sensor / sensor installed in the hole & he has a '93 its not gonna throw a code for a sensor it isn't looking for... lol.
