ahh so i finally decided t ocross over and get an sr, now turbo upgrades are something i want to look at, ive been looking at a 60-1, which is a very large turbo

im not looking for a nice even balanced powerband, i want something that will just come in full force and kick major ass

so has anyone seen a 60-1 on a sr20, will it even clear the space in the engine bay?

I've seen it once I believe (it may have been a t-78). The manifold was a customized one. Top mount turbo, but lower mounting area. The tubes coming from the exhaust port dropped a couple inches in order to clear the hood. Looked like a bitch of a job to install.

Man... if you're really into getting a turbo upgrade for an sr, talk to Greaser. He's exceptionally knowledgable about sr motors and would know what setup will work best, since he's been through 5 turbo setups. And not one of those was a t60-1. He even started a thread on FA bitching about everyone wanting one, cuz it's not necessary. He did a t4(?) setup to 451rwhp, and now he's trying to break 400hp with low (10-15psi) boost.

its not that im insane, she just cant hnadle not being in control when i drift it
