if thats a probe it has flip up headlights.. so i dont know what you mean Fixed?...
there are mods you can do so that even if you have your lights on they look sleepy .. its involves installing foglights or small projector lights into your housing.. i think clearcorner.com sells em |

While we are on the subject, do the clear corner lights flip down still, and do they go all the way up, or is the motor set up to stop there?
And is it that hard to do yourself, doesn't seem like it, except the whole motor thing and making it stop at a certain spot without getting a pivot kit.

it would be so much cheaper to get a pivot kit and some nice quality foglamps and driving lights...
i'd reccomend picking up a really good set howevere.. i can see if someone did it haLF A$$ED that their night vision might be affected |

im thinking that you could cut the little rods that push the lights up, or actually you could disconnect the motor then turn it up a little then reconnect it. the headlight would be all the way down but the motor wouldnt. might work just throwin out suggestions.

I don't have a picture of my sleepy eyes cause my friend did it like 2 weeks ago, but if you pull off the button that makes the lights flip up and down, you can cut 2 wires (forgot which 2) and wire them to a toggle switch, so when you press that botton the lights will flip up, then press it againa dn they won't go down but when you flip the toggle switch to the on spot they will go down and you can stop it when you want..
AS for mounting lights, just pull the metal part on the light off, then unscrew the light and the bracket that holds it in, i personally mounted a "driving light" to a cross brackets, and im using that as a headlight.. the light right now is flipped up about 3 fingers high and i can turn those lights on from a button and i turn my back lights on by turning the switch once, if you go all the way up then the lights will flip up all the away.. if you don't understand what im tryign to say just post it and i'll make it mad easy and get the pics.... I saw something on autoimaging.com about a month ago, but they since have stopped listing it on their site. They had 3 different lazy eye light kits by a company called "ALL ROUND" I think that heavythrottle.com may still carry them. they were pretty cool and for about half the price of that clearcorners.com mod. The first was just a simple square light, almost stock looking. the second was the same but had a small round "city light" in the bottom left or right. And the third was the best IMO, it looks just like the clearcorners.com one. Two circle lights fit into the housing. I was almost gonna buy that one but didnt have enough before it was taken off the site. I'm sure if you keep looking or call them up you might still be able to get something. Hope it helps.

Would PIAA fog lights work for the headlights? If they were of diffrent wattages. My friend had a Camaro and they took out the headlight assemblies and mounted the two PIAA fog lights, and wired them into the actual headlight swich. It worked out excellent visibility was really good. It looked ptetty cool too.

Ok lemme explain it again...hehe..sorry
Ok the toggle switch is on off Press the button that makes the lights go up Press it again (the lights won't drop) The flip the toggle switch to on then off real quick and they will move down a bit Do it again real quick and they go down further Your right they won't be even but after a while you start to just to it the same each time.. It's just a cheaper way of doing it, works fine. Im try to figure out if there is way to make them land the same each time... And by the way. I need to give credit to my friend cause she was actually the person who did it, but i watched carefully and if i had to i would be able to do it.... |

i have the setup that annoying eric has...
and yea its a bitch to do it everytime.... and its not always even .. my left eye hangs lower than my right.. but its not extremely noticable.. but hey its cheap.. cost under 6 bucks.. all you do is pull the headlight button off and hook up a wire to the green wire. and thats it =)... |

Hm.. Well both my lights are even with each other but if i put them down then want the sleepy eyes again i mgith not get them with the same about of space from the bumper..
I think i know how to make your lights even.. Unscrew the top cover of the light, then take the huge monster bulb and then the black bracket it screws into.. theres gonna be a long skinny rod that contacts to an arm that is attached to the motor, unscew the arm a little and move it around till its the same as the other, that should make them even again...... It sounds harder then it actually is, prolly take you about 10 minutes.. Eric |
