stitch welding and cage questions

i am getting ready to stitch weld my s13 an was looking for advice. shouldi do whole chassis or just certain parts? also going to put in a cage. any suggestions on how many points an what is required for drift events an tandem?

Just a tip.

I've been told (and it makes sense) to stitch weld BETWEEN factory spot welds. Was told not to waste time replacing the factory tacks with your own welds.
