hey kids its mixewell. i was wondering why people disable the VTC on their S14/15 SR20DET when they make lots of horsepower? and is the lack of VTC on the S13 SR make it better?
what i think i know:
SR has good low end. Turbo gives it good high end. VTC helps out low end right? VTC works like Honda's VTEC right?
cuz TURBO hondas, as cheesy as it sound are pretty fast. Turbo an LS or B20 motor and its really scary. Turbo the B16 and VTEC + TURBO get pretty impressive. so why diable it? whats the point.
and yes im gonna build a mean ass SR20DET using the S14 motor. its gonna be mostly DRAG but still streetable. maybe around 400 to the wheels which is easy for the SR but im not sure what to do with the VTC. i wonder if Signal AUTOs orange S15 has its VTC disabled. holla
