Cleaning Oil stains on my driveway
I just got a letter saying the Home Owner's Association will be giving me a visit.
I was looking to clean all the oil stains from my driveway before I meet them on friday. Any suggestions? |

cheapest easiest way is kitty litter, we use it at my shop all the time.
leave it there let it soak it up and brush it off with a broom and repeat if necessary.

the thing is, the stains are already there
I use kitty litter as well. but I have dried stains on the driveway. Im going to try and cover what I can by parking cars on the driveway but there is still a small amount left. I want to make it seem like I dont even touch cars and hope I dont get fined. |

i got a way easier way! its cost a little but works great,
okay pour gasoline all over your driveway or wherever you got stains, it brings it right up and cleans it, set it on fire if you need to=] try it on one spot with out the fire and on another with. did this on my friends drive way worked like a charm

add some water to the stain, springkle bead style detergent (tide ect) then take a broom/brush, and scrub the hell out of it. Wash, rinse, repeat as necessary |

For kitty litter, you arent just throwing it on and then letting it soak are you?
You should pour on stain, and then crush them into the ground until it turns into powder (just wear old boots and stomp) and then sweep. That should work. I did this many times before. |

Degreaser + broom + hose = clean.
That's what works for me. Some "industrial strength" degreaser I buy at Sam's Club. Insanely strong. |

even if the stains are old. kitty litter + old shoe = nice drive way again. What you want to do is use your shoe step on the kitty litter where the stain is and rub or twist your shoe to the stain, than sweep it off.... DONT USE WATER!!! it'll go to the ocean and thats messed up.

Gasoline eats through asphalt dumbasses.
Brake parts cleaner if its small... Or detergent/water/hand scrub brush... They self clean after 4 months of rain usually though.
