be careful in northern va, they'll definitely overcharge you there unless you're smart. it's probably not everyone up there, but from an experience this summer, i would be very careful. the thing was, i was at a party visiting some friends and i started talking to my friend about cars and he introduces me to some kid who works at some shop there. so this is when i was trying to find a good place to buy a clip from so i asked him about it. and he wasn't sure at first and either he just didn't know 240's at all or just was trashed, but then he said probably around $6000 for a redtop clip. so needless to say, nothing good came out of that conversation except a reason to get another beer.

oh and someone before mentioned rosen...i haven't heard anything good about them at all, actually everything i've heard about them has been bad. some stuff like someone took their Z their and it took something like 4 months to get it back and rosen was doing something that in no way should take that long. for what i know right now about shops in VA, i would rather just buy an RX-7 and go and visit peter farrell than take my 240 anywhere around here.

so good luck and sorry about the lack of memory on everyhing, it's getting late here.

There's a place called Noyen (sp?). They sell/import only motors. And they have the best price around for a red top. I'm gonna go up there after work tonight to price an RB. They're right behind my work. Ohhh yeah...It's Manassas.

i dunno where you're located, but i'm assuming nova or va beach. well if you're willing to drive all the way here (virginia tech), there's this one shop here that can do the sr swap. it's called sevensix auto and is in christiansburg. it might be kinda far just to do the swap tho, but just letting you know.

I had my swap done by CJS Imports. They are no longer in business because they joined w/ a bigger company that sells intercoolers and various performance parts along w/ inporting clips and installs. If you are interested they are located in Roanoke VA (South) I made the drive from Springfield down to have them do my swap ::for $800 so you see why I made the trip:: and they did a wonderful job. Also very quick work. Brought it down on Friday and picked her up on Sunday.
