240sx (sr20) v.s BMW M3

This past sunday when i was just driving around minding my own business, I saw this BMW M3 my age kid driving it(on the freeway). So both of us exit of the next exit ramp and he was head of me at this time we both made a left turn. He got into the far lane and I was in the closer lane. We roll up next to each other and guned it he got traction(he has his rims with tires on), and i kinda slipped on gravel (with crapy tires) he was only half a car length ahead of me all the way through about 3 gear then i started to creep on him and i stop cuz at this point we were going about 70-80 mph on a 40mph zone. Then we both decide to take the left turn into a shopping strip, the next thing i know i saw this bike coming flying past me and it was a cop(he almost fall of the bike). He told the M3 to turn his engine off, I was like i better get out then he walk over to my car he was like to your car off too, soo i did. He walk over to me again and said turn your car off, i told him the key is right here and he was flaming red at this point he was like turn your damn car off blah blah blah.
