s13 GREDDY Oil Filter Sensor Adapter ??

I'm trying to find out if the JDM Oil Filter Sensor Adapter (oil pressure/oil temperature sensor adapter) for the Redtop SR20DET motor will fit on the US Spec 240SX KA24 motors. I'm planning on buying a couple of cases of them for dirt cheap from a wholesale outlet in Japan.
email me at: [email protected]

thanks

So if I understand correctly they go on before your filter so that your can put an oil pressure sensor on it?

If that is so I would be interested in one for my redtop, if the price wasnt too expensive.

By the way a KA oil filter wont fit an SR so I doubt that will either.

Even if it doesn't fit the KA...there's plenty of people running around stateside with SRs...i'm sure there would be some interest.

Hey Eric
Is the thread size the same for all of the KA24 motors 1989-98?
A previous reply stated that the KA24 oil filters won't fit on the SR20 motors which I'm not too sure if that's an accurate statement. I just had someone cross reference the Nissan factory parts list and it shows the thread for the S13/180SXRedtop SR20DET motor as having a 3/4 -16 threading as you mentioned. Actually all of the SR20DET motors have that thread size with the exception of the S14 Blacktop SR20DET which has a P1.5 X 20 thread.
Any thoughts on that?

Reason is the KA filters are of larger diameter than the SR ones. So if you try and screw a ka filter on sr or vice versa you won't create a seal.

PS, I'd be intereseted in buying that sandwich adapter also.

Thanks for the clarification Foxcolt.
I guess I'm buying a couple of cases of them.
BTW, what oil filters can be used with the Greddy sandwich adapter on the KA?
