power antenna swear to god i tried the search,
Here the deal.My 1990 240 is not wired for a power antenna.I bought a nissan power antenna.I am missing that factory blue wire,so I ran a speaker wire to the rear.The antenna has 2 wires.One has a red stripe and one is plain.I thought one was a power and one was a signal.I have tried different combinations but noting is working.

yes,its getting power.I took the antenna out of the car and grounded the antenna and one wire and gave the other wire power and it goes up and if you reverse the wires it goes down.But I cant carry a booster pack in my hatch and keep switching the wires.Is there somekind of unit I need to buy.
