Tiny Question

So i feel dumb for this even being a question but thats okay...
My exhaust gas sensor kept ejecting itself from my engine i put it back in twice but kept happening so i went in and pulled the manifold cover off and really got that sucker tightened down haven't had the problem since but some how my manifold cover screw jiggled out and i don't know what size screw to go buy now to replace it and the cover rattles like no other (which is how i knew the screw was gone)
Its on a 89 240sx btw lol

If you have a second screw to the manifold cover, take it to a hardware store and they will have a tool to measure the thread and pitch. Match up another screw from the the store and if its too long, cut it down to size if nesessary to the length that you need it.

I dont have the tool handy at the moment or else i would go and check mine. Hope you get it figured out. Someone will be able to chime in, or anyone local you can get one from. Good luck

I used a 10mm socket to get the bolt off
Have almost considered the old tried and true guess and check method at the hardware store by buying a dozen or so screws lol

My guess would be a 6mm x 1.25mm pitch. Its the most common shaft and pitch for the 10mm bolts on nissans.

Don't know why this was dredged back up, but Nissan bolts are M6x1.0. We all know this.

And, you can remove and eliminate the heat shield anyway. We all know this too.
