OK, so I was searching e-bay for random crap, and found this. So it looks like a POS through the pictures, it might actually be worth trying out. For all you s-14 owners with a couple extra bucks (not like myself) it sounds like a good idea. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33695

grrr, i wish i could use such a simple soultion. i use that space as an arm/wrist rest, hell lot easier to shift that way. i need to design something that hangs off to the side, but that obstructs my passenger's leg space. Last and eaiest solution... human cup holder, find a friend, any friend, staple him/her to your car,

Oh yeah...one more thing...I can shift fine/have no problem resting my arm when there is a drink in it...thats one of the reason i set it so far back in the console, so you can shift unburdened by a cup of scalding coffee...

you can still put your drinks and cups w/o that ugly piece. there should be a divider anyway.

IIRC the cupholder came stock in some 97-98's.

The one for the center storage box looks like a good idea though. I bet it would be easy to make with some sheet metal, although fiberglassing it would be even better. I'll look into it when I have some free time this week. (Have some extra sheet metal lying around)

Goto yur local asian shopping center, like mitsuwa or 99 ranch, they have little car accessory shops that have cup holders thatl fit. plus its JDM!!

yeah I have one that clips onto the vents, but it is made for JDM sized drinks as well... I just use it for my cell phone etc....
