Another positive testimonial for speed bleeders
I gotta say, these things are the best investment I've made for my car yet. 20 minutes, brakes are BLED.
![]() Also, I got a set of the cheap-o Pilot strut tower bars, and they work very nicely as well. I do see why they're so inexpensive (kinda blobby welds, orange peel in the paint on the endplates) but from a functional perspective they're on the money. I'm so happy... I had a leak at one front caliper after my last track day (way back in November!) and I haven't been able to drive the S13 much because of it. I finally got off my ass and fixed it... It feels so good to be on the road again, "enjoying the car life" heh. Next up: rotors! Mine are looking pretty janky... front pads too. Just had to vent (positively)! ![]() |

I have just been to retarded to buy speed bleeders. Everytime I go the autoparts store I see it hanging on the wall and pass it by because...well...I'm a retard
![]() ![]() You have motivated me Ryan, now I'm off to the store ![]() Oh and for the Pilot bar you sound like you got super quality because my ebay special STB looks like a$s but works fine. It really firmed up the front end. The change was very drastic

Bakari!! pick me up a set!!! I'll pay you back!
Where's the store your talking about? I too have been meaning to get them for a while. Do you have to unscrew one at a time or can you do all four and bleed every caliper at once? |

You 'could' do every caliper at once, but it's possible you wouldn't get all the air out of the lines..
I have seen people do 2 at once though.. the rears, then the fronts. I also agree that they are awesome. Made my pedal hard as a rock. I LOVE it.

One thing to point out:
When you do more than one at once, the fluid level drops FAST. Keep an eye on the reservoir ![]() I too have the bleeders...mucho pimpage. Eric

The first time I ever bled a set of brakes myself was after I installed a set of SBers... I don't think I need to know what I'm missing, cause I can't even figure out how you'd do it without them

Yeah I need to bleed my brakes. I got a wreckless ticket the other day because of my brakes. This SUV slut took a left in the straight lane while i was taking a left in the left hand turning lane. Cut me off and since I have "no" brakes, I down shifted to 2nd and broke traction. Needless to say the cop was right there so I thought he would have seen what the whore did. But he was like, "you lost control". I wanted to stab him. He was right there.

without bleeders it's more like:
remove wheel connect hose to nut have friend pump brakes loosen nut have friend pump brakes close nut while pumping to prevent air seeping back in through the nut repeat until air stops comming out. I never could bleed the brakes properly by myself before.
