Nardi/Nismo hubs would work, or spacers/quick release that has universal bolt patterns. IIRC, Jspec still has a quick release and a nismo hub.

cool well as soon as i can figure out whether or not i can buy the wheel, i'll buy that nismo hub from jspec. it's only $65shipped. and is way cheaper than the qwick release.
is there anything else needed for install. other than wheel, hub, and tools? thanx Last edited by CoasTek240; 05-05-2003 at 11:17 PM.. |

Just b/c I used duct tapes don't mean I am an idiot, duct tapes fixes lots of things... PPL make different life choices, try and respect that.
![]() EDIT: Just a side note, I see that the Nardi you are interested is a deep dish rally type... I've heard ppl breaking their thumb using one of these, but then again, that was during a drift. But deep dish type eliminate the need for a spacer/quick release to bring the steering wheel closer to the driver for a more comfortable position. But then again, comfort is relative and closer is just my personal preference.

I think, don't quote me on this one. This deep dish on a hub w/o using a spacer will put your hands at about the same distance away from your body as your stock one. I had to use a quick release(about 25mm) and a momo spacer(about 22mm) to put it to where I want it, and I still want it even closer. Another side note, due to the quick release's universal bolt patterns. I was able to use a momo hub, momo spacer, and a nardi steering wheel.
To dousan: Yea, I know you weren't talking about me, I remember you mentioned once about that particular individual. I was just trying to crack a joke. You know I am never that dumb, that I can't even put a steering wheel on me car. After all, the shop did charge me $100 labor to screw it onto my hub.

so with the HUB alone itll prolyl be the same distance as the stock unit. i guess if i need more ill throw a spacer on there. but ill try just the hub alone. btw i've been searching google for HKB hubs, no luck. does anyone know where to get one. JSPEC. com doesnt carry them anymore. thanx |

$32?!?!? that's f-in' cheap. Unless it's in crap condition with leather peeling off. Sounds like a good deal to me! The dished ones with red stitching and perforated leather go for ~2XX on ebay, new. Anything under $200 for that, new, I'd say is a reasonable deal. Anything less than $180 for that wheel new, is a darn good deal.
![]() If you're not desparate for a hub, I can get you an HKB for ~40 (35?) in 2 months or so...

Back to topic, someone on Club4ag.com is doing some kinda of group buy for Nardi's. You might want to check it out, though primarily for 86 owners. I am sure he'll be able to get you something too, long as you got the cash.

yeah you need an adapter, the nardi and momo pattern DO differ (the diameter between the holes). i tried to bolt up my nardi w/ the non-nardi holes and it didnt fit well at all, the nardi with the nardi holes, it matched perfect. so dont go buying a momo hub with a nardi wheel, you need the adapter too!! that's why you should go HKB or a nardi hub specifically. HKB pretty much covers ALL steering wheels and is very cheap (~$20) |
