Idling and other problems

I've recently got a s14, it had a KA swap recently and there seems to be some problems with it.

when it idles, the rpm jumps up a down between the 700-1000. This happens when I leave the car on for a while and then when it drives it sounds like the engine is about to give out. I had to stop on the highway, just to restart my car. In stop and go traffic it seems like the engine is jerky, sounds like its about to quit.

this is a 120000mile car. I'm wondering if it could be a fuel pump thing or something else. could it be a sensor ???

I've attached a video of the idling problem, the check light comes on and off as the idle rpm jumps and there is a weird winding noise that comes from the engine. watch for the RPM, the checklight, and listen for the sound.
