SR swap wiring help

Ive been reading for days about the swap and I am only confused on one little thing. If I get a front clip and use the ECU and everything out of the clip, do I still have to get the harness rewired for something or will it work as it is?

Thanks

Front clip or not, you HAVE to rewire the harness.

try www.srswaps.com, you should also get a copy of your cars factory service manual. Otherwise have a professional do the wiring.

If you have an s13, and judging by your name I assume you do, the wiring changes aren't that difficult. Go to HeavyThrottle.com and look in the install faq section and you will find the changes you need to make there along with a sketch of which wires need to be changed. To quote the guy from heavythrottle when I called them about the changes "it's about as hard as wiring a new radio". I was a little confused on the changes at first, but I went by their sketch and my sr started right up.
