Help Please.. Taurus Fan & Greddy MSS Heads get in her please..

Ok.. So let me start off by stating that I did search, I really did but I still cant find anything that really that pertains to the issue that I'm having.

Ok so what I'd like to know is who on here is running '95 Ford Taurus fan with a Greddy Multi Switch System..?? How did you do it..?? What do I need..?? Any and all help is very much appreciated. +1000000000 if you can also provide pics.

I don't have those fans but I will try to help get you started in the right direction.

Parts you need:
Fans
Temp sensor (not sure if that came with your Greddy unit, but would suspect it did)
Temp sensor mount (again depending on what the sensor is like will depend on what you need. I have a derale sesnor so I used a greddy radiator hose adapter and drilled it out for the correct size)
Relay
Wiring, fuses

There are several wiring schematics on here for fans, just find out what the power and ground wires are for your specific fans.

since these fans pull big amps make sure to get a good quality high rated amp relay for the high speed

For my setup i used a 80a relay for high and a 40a relay for low

I run the fan.
dont have the high hooked up.
but you need 50amp fuse and relay for the high.

also, you putting it in a SOHC or DUAL cam?
It makes a big wiring difference.

my SOHC was rebuilt by a real shop.
$2000, new crank, bearings, radiator and a couple other things,
3 year warrentee.

So it runs good and flows right.
So I never over heat, and i literally stand on the rev limiter and kick the clutch.
My drift initiation is more of a burn out style clutch kick, meaning i let the revs really get up there.

and still it stays cool enough.
If I thought i had a problem, i would hook up the 500......whatever cfm, the high speed, lol

I also dont have a real temp gauge and worry about the high speed running me to cool and doing damage.

In the dual cam, you can hook up the high speed through the ac relay or something like that, so that when the regualr speed isnt keeping it cool enough, it will kick on the high speed.
that ac/relay thing the dual cams have in them, has a temp sensor in it, so its alot easier then the sohc.

it took me a bit to find it, had to read over a dozen threads to get the right one.
just keep searching for the ford taurus sho fan 240sx and you will gather enough info between em all to make sense of it all, lol.
thats what i did.
then i had spencer at sidewayz performance do my wiring after i put it in.



people tell you that a clutch fan cools better, but since i dont have a problem, its nice not having the drag from the clutch fan, less stress on the water pump (blew one from a shitty fan), and its especially nice to have some extra room up front when working on the car.

The MSS is easy to use and fairly easy to set up….it will also display water temp RPM and speed. Wiring is simple…you tap into the CTS signal for water temp. power and ground…speed and Tach.
The unit will allow u to turn on 2 fans at different water temps. It’s a ground on signal so u just wire up relay accordingly. Let me know if u need the specific wire colors n the procedure for the set-up of the MSS I have it at home.
