How common is it for exhaust manifold to clog?

I have low back pressure at the egr tube and my vacuum at the throttle is only a couple inches of vacuum.

The egr tube sometimes gets filled with soot.

Just try shooting cleaner through it while the car is on. Or you could try using some sort of little snake to try and unclog it.

No it's impossible to have enough soot buildup to clog that tube, maybe rust but thats very unlikely aswell, and i have never in my life seen a exhaust mani clog. I dont even think theoretically the enigne could function till that point. How did u come to find out that u had low back pressure at your egr anyhow? an how is it affecting the performance?
