Bought SR clip, Wiring harness cut + taped a lot!

Hey, I just removed my wiring harness so i could lengthen all the wires I need to, and install some electronics before I swap out my KA. I found a **** load of electrical tape where some moron hacked it all up. Take a look and tell me what you think.

Joey

I looked into the wires that are modified. they are:

38/39/47/48 ECCS power + ground
19 oxygen sensor
22/30 CAS 180º
31/40 CAS 1º
27 knock sensor
14 clk (timing)
17 MAFS ground
36 IGN ignition
46 ECCS power backup
107/108/116 injector ground
3 tach signal

This is seeming to me that the previous owner hardwired an aftermarket multichecker. What should I do with it? I have to wire 3 aftermarket gauges, a turbo timer, and an a'pexi rev/speed meter into that mess?

actually, they are supposed to be cut in the location shown in that picture. I just about pooped myself when I got the harness pulled from my clip and it looks exactly like yours, but I called Wayne at Phase 2 and he said it was supposed to be like that. I hooked everything up and it has worked flawlessly ever since. DOn't worry man, it is cool

So all that electrical tape is "JDM factory electrical tape"?

I love saying stuff is JDM when it doesn't matter.

I was just looking at what has to be changed to mate the sr harness to a ka gauge cluster, and It looks like that white clip may have gone to the gauge cluster. Is that possible? Either way this will work just fine.
