does cleaning a maf help get better gas milage? And how do you clean your maf?
i did a search in freshalloy and here, but didn't really pull up anything especially helpful.

It is early in the system and does not need a cleaning.

I have a shaved version that allows more air flow by the sensor.

It needs no cleaning unless it was ran on dirt unfiltered.

Cleaning and keeping it obstruction free won't necessarily help mileage, but it will smooth any rough idling you may have been experiencing associated with it.

what gas mileage are you getting? is there a reason for you to expect that it could be better?

hint: 240s are not exactly frugal. if you want mileage, buy a CRX HF. if you want RWD with torque and a good chassis to build, keep the 240

i'm getting from anywhere from 22-24mpg. I tried pretty conservatively, my sister says i drive to old manish

i'm just trying to get the best gas milage by doing free "mods."

depending on running condition, it's not entirely uncommon to run 28-32 with a mix of 1/3 city and 2/3 freeway.
