SR20DET Knock Sensor Question
Prior to me pulling my engine out, I had been throwing a knock sensor code. I wasn't sure if it was a wiring issue, or the actual sensor was bad.
I was wondering if there's any definite way to diagnose it with the engine out, since it is so much easier to get to. there is a slighht discoloration on the copper side of the metal, and there doesnt appear to be any wiring damage.

You can follow the FSM procedure, but there have been times where good ones have failed, and junk ones have passed.
Check ebay for new OE ones (rouhly 55-65 bucks shipped) or a used one. All Nissan's use the same sensor.
