I got annoyed with the site and left, probably won't ever return. Too much on each page, fading thumbnails are annoying, i never did get a pic to load after I clicked a thumbnail. Lots of dead links. I do like the overal layout of the site. Colors are easy on the eyes, and layout looks clean. I don't like show cars, or the show scene and I don't really care for his car either, but you didn't ask for opinions on that, so I'll stop there. Send him this link http://www.webdesignforums.net (being helpful, not an ***) Last edited by 240Dave; 09-06-2003 at 12:54 PM.. |

Impressive work. still too "bling" for my taste (especially the yellow with red seats and CF shock towers) but impressive noless.
I can only assume you said "slow heh?" in response to my post...you do know I was commenting on his website right? Glad to hear he did it all himself. |

i am a hater, i dont really care much for the car...
BUT, if the guy DID do his own work, i can definately respect that. I dont like the name of the car/site, lilgtr.. yawn. Some of the mods seem to hotimportweekendfastfurious-ish, i would prefer less pricey/exotic mods, and worry more about the reliability factor of the car -- not so much about showing off. i am down with the color, its okay. the hid kit is dog poo, but what do you expect from people who dont understand lighting. overall, there's just too much fiberglas and carbon on that car for it to catch my eye. |

Mike, you have some issues, don't you. You have to pay money for good parts. Good parts directly translate into reliable parts. Sorry I don't have any Ractive or APC parts on my car.
If you put APC or Ractive parts on your car, I would have straight up called you an idiot. I never said your car had cheap parts on it, what I *DID* say is that your car had some very expensive parts on it. Some of the parts are good, others look like you just shelled out money because they let OTHERS know that you shelled out mega bucks for these parts. sidenote: dont always believe that high PRICE = high QUALITY, it doesnt. This is why PIAA products suck, and why HELLA products rock. This is why the stock B&M shift kit sucks, and why you have to modify it to work properly. There are PLENTY of products that work great for fractions of the cost of some of their high cost competetors. Oh yeah, CROSS DRILLED rotors.. another big waste of dough, IMO. Name one. There are no stickers, flashing neon lights or anything F&F on this car. Don't talk shat Mike if you can't back it up with facts. You do this ALL the time and it gets annoying. You have a car. You fix up your car. You make a website and post pics and mod-list of your lilgtr, expect to hear criticism from ayssholes like me. "Ooooh Mike doesnt like my car" -- who gives a shiet, who am I to you? I am just another person, you dont even know me.. my opinion should mean nothing to you. Some people will like your car, some wont, some will be "whatever" about it. Its your car, ultimately whatever you do with it is up to you brotha. Not that my opinion matters much, I just think its silly having a wide-screen monitor in a car equipped with big red Sparco seats and racing harnesses. Probably the same reason I dont like an RB26 in a car with a big ol body kit, but thats just ME. It all goes back to the checklist you filled out when you were considering building up a car: I want my car to be (pick one): a) Race car b) Show car Last edited by old_s13; 09-08-2003 at 10:33 AM.. |

You're right Mike. If you don't like my car, I don't care. I just don't appreciate you calling it something it's not. There is nothing F&F about this car. Name one thing that is. If you can't, then don't make such statements.
It would be like me calling you a fag without even knowing you. Who cares if you are. But if you aren't, I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate being called so. Right? |

Listen brotha, I didnt say the stuff I said before to try to put you down. Nor am I a jealous person, I dont get envious over nice things. You've got some nice stuff on your car, you should be happy. ME? I just think there are some things on your car that are items I would NEVER touch. Thats just MY personal taste, thats all. If I called your car F&F-ish, or HotImportNights-ish, its because I see this stuff ALL the time out here. Shiet, I even have plenty of goofy friends using some of those parts.. it doesnt bother me, its just NOT MY STYLE. I can understand seeing a CF hood and 19" rims on an Eclipse, but you have a pretty badassed S14. When you throw in a motor like that, I would intially think "alright, this guy is nuts.. his car must be ALL about hauling a/ss." When I see that super light hood, I think to myself "man, this guy is all about saving weight." NO, not the case. Your car has a body kit that must be handled with care, every driveway and bump must be carefully driven over. You cant launch your car over a biga/ss dip without seeing body kit parts in your rearview mirror now, can you? Why have a carbon fiber hood if you're gonna load your car up with stereo equipment? Whats the back-up camera for, is your visibility poor? Last I checked, S14's had very good rear visibility.. you are not driving a tank, its a 240SX. Its not a GT-R or a LILGT-R.. its just a bada/ssed S14 with a bada/ssed motor. It would be like me calling you a fag without even knowing you. Who cares if you are. But if you aren't, I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate being called so. Right? haha.. 1) I dont like dick 2) I like poonanny too much 3) I am not a fag, but asshole.. thats okay, I agree to that one. Even though *I* think the layout of your car is a bit confused, its still a nice car.. keep up the good work, just try to be a bit more consistent with your cars GOAL. |

Well most people have to choose between show car or race car. And usually when they try to compromise between the 2, especially on a limited budget, it turns out to be a ugly car that breaks a lot.
However, this car does a really good job of going for both. After seeing it in person I can say that there was a lot of money, time and craftsmanship invested in it. Yes it is a show car and this compromises its race car-ness a bit, but overall I think its a really good ballance for someone who wanted both, and didnt want to half-a$$ either. |

:cough cough: your trunk :cough cough: ![]() Anyways ya I agree with duff, when you see it in person you'll see it was really done good. Sure he has a lot high priced mods, but its not like they are crappy, they are great, and its best to do it right the first time, especially with something as rare and hard to find. You guys over in cali get things so much easier than us midwesterners, so he might as well do it w/o sparing a cost to avoid future problems. Didnt you have a knock problem or something like that? I take it everything is figurd out? Are you guys coming down to chicago again for the meet on the 20th? And have you decided to run your car at Battle of the Imports? Post times if you do. BTW nice site.
