SR20 Red top or black top??? SR gurus?

alright everyone I know for sure I have a s13 motor but I'm frustrated to not know wether it is a blacktop or redtop. It has a red top but has the cooling fins on the front of the motor, it says 52f on the head AND the block, i have the fat 02 sensor (pretty sure, i havent seen them side by side but if i remember right it looks about the size of my old 300zx 02 sensor), my injectors are purple... I guess to rephrase do i have the 54c internals like the blacktop also with the updated oil squirters? any advice/info would be great.... i dont feel like taking off the oil pan to look at the oil pickup... I can add pics for those who are curious...

it's either a blacktop motor or the type-x redtop. I wouldn't beat yourself up over it.

A] If you look straight down through the spark plug hole you can usually see the 54C stamped into the piston

B] The ecu doesnt ultimatelly matter because harnesses are interchangable,
however, J4/J5 =1997/1998 blacktop type-x (S13 180sx 1998 got these I think? )
62/63 = [1989-1992 redtop.
E5 = [1992/1995]-1996 blacktop S13

I dont remember the exact years but I am sure you this will point you in the right direction.

C] it really doesnt matter. you have an SR20, pay more attention to the condition of the parts instead of the nature of their creation, because its what you got in front of you at this very instant.
