Oil pan help

I looked and didn't find anything on here. What I wanted to know was has anyone ever used the knockoff greddy oilpan that you can get off eBay on there sr. Was it a direct bolt on or was there alot of work to make it fit and has anyone had problems with it. Thanks

A friend of mine had one. Fitted snuggle just fine. But EBAY products are usually hit or miss.

why would you cheap out on one of the most important parts of your engine?
When that thing fails you wont know it until its too late

Because I'm broke from doing my sr swap because I payed a idiot to do the swap and then I had to pay a different shop to clean up there mess. But I need a oil pan really bad because there is a small crack on it when I was told by the first shop it was good. So I'll figure I'll ask on here to see if anyone has used one and have any issues with it

I have a R&D Factory pan its not the best looking but it sits super high above my sway bars and it holds 5 quarts and has baffles inside. Ive used it on my strict track car only for 2 years now and no problem.s

The oil drain plug threads were all fucked up on one I had, therefore cross threading and stripping out after one oil change. Go with a stock pan.

A friend bought the knockoff greddy and the thing was warped. He didnt know until it cracked during install. Another friend bought the r&d factory one and the hinges just came right off. If your strapped for cash just get another stock one. I have one if your interested. Or have yours fixed as it would be the fastest way to finish your swap.

Then buy a clean stock/OEM one instead of buying a knock off of a crucial part of your engine.

Well I was thinking about buying the isis oil pan because it's made ot of the same metals as the greddy minus the flashy sr20 and greddy stamps. Plus they are half the price. Would buying the isis product be a bad idea ?

buy an oem pan or get yours welded like everyone said, 1 weld 20$ if the welder wants to be a dick, or oem pan 70-80$ either way will save you money

Another question to ask your self is what are your driving habits do you drift? I wouldn't up grade if I did not need it, get my drift, lol. The welding of your original pan would be a great cost effective solution. Good luck and post pics of the results.
