my s13 vq swap
hay there guys i just recently got a 89 Nissan 240 sx with a blown head gasket and diced to swap it out with a vq motor . so i got a hold of a 2004 off a q45 and also a automatic teitonic tranny that i wold love to put on . i will be posting up pics soon ..
the only thing that i who'd need help in is the engine harness . ive already got the one from the g35 and the s13 one so if any one got any info let me no thanks guys enjoy ! |

the only thing is that the car was in a car crash so the oil pan and the oil receiver was damage but that's nothing for what i got it for i got the ecm ,tranny , engine wiring harness and the vq for free lol so it was a deal

Automatic tectonic tranny? That's really interesting! I had that exact same car too, an '89 two tone coupe with the same two colors. I miss it so damn much... hope you're preserving the two tone!

yha it seems like a nice car my cuzzin dint want it so i got it off of him for free it has the electronic tach by the window it still works and has 90,xxx mils on the chssy .. im planing to just do the vq swap and suspension just a dd undercover monster and turboing it . |

lol lsvtak for honda na im talking about the ls line of motors by chevy/gm its like ls1 ls2.... the term ls can encompass a ton of different engines from different cars and so on im trying to find an ls1 or ls2 out of a gto or fbody or corvette. its a v8 can get like 400whp pretty easy and reliably

Hay whats up guys having troubles finding the functions of the plugs from the 240 harness i know where they go on the 240 the ones on the left go to the shock tower and the ones on the right go to the inside by the glove box

lol yea from what i heard its great not super hard(im not fond of harnesses), good luck bro, im jealous of the 2 tone coupe, 2 tone coupe shits on my black hatch lol

lol thanks man ... yha i actually like this car i never like the other 240 , its also supper clean on the interior and on the out side . but i only have on problum by the out side door it has a big dent that's all it has

ok so i did a lil search and this what i came up with
![]() 1 b ground 111 gy/l from output from the ecu relay 115 b/w ground 116 b/r ground 109 w/b ign sw 121 r/w 12+ constant ![]() ![]() so im just going to cut the wires from the 13 harness and plug them in to the z33 harness ![]() |

nice job,I have a VQ also...so sweet and powerful engines
you should return that regular VQ35 oil pump and put a rev up oil(05-06) pump while you're at it and those headers are not for a VQ ![]() |
