JIC overpriced !?

Well,
Just visit JIC Japan website. duh, I found the list
retail price of JIC FLT-A2 is 185000 for 180SX.
Compare to Tien HE, the list price in Japan is 168000 for 180SX.
The difference in japanese yen is 17000.
convert yen to US dollar we're probably talking about $150 only in difference.

Well, the fact is people can get Tien HE for about $1100-1200 in US, however the average price of JIC FLT-A2 is $1600. so JIC's about 400-500 dollar higher than Tein HE in US.

Does this suggest that JIC is overpriced in US?

I've also checked their produts for S14 and S15, same thing...

Just my thought.

Well, don't really care it's old or not.
I guess it has something to do with the supply and demand.

Thanks anyway.

JIC is 100 percent overpriced. Being the dicks they are, I would never buy a JIC product. I don't even want to think about how much trouble I would have to go through to rebuild a set of their coilovers. I've talked to them, as well as my friends. They sound like a bunch of haughty elitist bastards. Guess what, three of them went Tein HEs instead. I work retail, and I know how it is. If someone offers good customer service, I will buy from them even though their product is "supposedly" second. TEIN=great customer service. No complaints with my HEs.

Thank you guys.

IT's good to know more opinions from all the fellow 240SX owners
as I am choosing between JIC FLT-A2 and Tien HE.

Have a great holiday, guys.

Why not get Cusco instead? Top notch products and great customer service from the US distributor.
