i am in california, and want to buy a car in florida
heres my question:
i know florida has some lax smog laws, so what are the chances of a decently kept car in florida passing smog here in california??? and if it doesnt pass, how much am i looking at to make it pass??? does anyone know or have experience with this kind of thing??? i'm kinda caught in a bad situation, and have to make a decision by wednesday night (tonight) any advice/comments will be appreciated, TIA |

It tottally depends on what parts of the car fail smog. It can cost anywheres from 50-350. It just all depends, also, if you fix it yourself it can be cheaper.

I thought this was going to be a cool post about registering a cali car in florida so as to dodge the smog nazis. Maybe you should think about doing that somehow. Get some Florida plates if possible. Then you'll be set.
