I am planning to buy the internals of a s13 silvia vlsd. I can just swap it my open diff internals with the vlsd internals with no problems right? I don't need the output shafts do I? I have done some searching, but all the info I found was about swapping the intire diff, not the internals. How hard will this be?

you need the VLSD output shafts too

you cannot just swap guts and use open diff output shafts

You would need one VLSD output for sure, and you could actually use one open diff (shorter one) output if you machine it down.

thats what Ive done (1 VLSD + 1 Open Diff)
