s14 S14 driver side window stopped working

Driver's side window wont go down. Makes clicking noise though. Before this happened, occaisonally I'd have to hold down the switch for a few seconds before the motor would kick on. Now it wont budge at all. The motor never showed lack of power so Im assuming the motor may still be good. However, Im not sure if the S14 has the same "regulator" black box type thing as the S13 does. I haven't looked yet by taking the door panel off, cuz I wanted to see if one of you guys knew already about this. Didn't find anything bout the S14 window issues using search so Im writing to you guys.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

True, however like my roomates window motors when they went out, they noticed a significant loss of power with the motor...like the window would go up and down slower and slower until it just said no more... Mine however never showed lower "strength" just a lag in maybe voltage building up to power it?????

Just to make sure, do you guys know for sure if the S14 has that same black box "regulator" as the S13 has? Tomorrow i'll take the door panel off to check, however I wanted to be sure before I buy a new motor if that's the problem or not. Lemme know...thanks!!!

im having the same problem with mine right now too, exactly, with the clicking noise and all. I took the door panel off and its the window amp that is clicking, but thats it. So the switch works, im not sure what it could be for sure though. If anybody knows how to fix this please let me know as well.

Well last weekend with a light tester, I confirmed power going from the box to the motor, but the motor doesn't respond. I know if the motor isn't getting enough juice from the box, it wont respond...or will it? Im probably gonna buy the motor from a guy who's parting out a 95 SE. However, if there's anything that I need to know, I'd appreciate the info. Thanks!
